The following is an edited transcript from my podcast conversation with Kristina Jermain of North Star Homeopathy. We discuss what it’s like to launch a homeopathy practice fresh out of school—a journey we’re both in the midst of.
Kristina’s path began when her young daughter was diagnosed with severe autism and PANS. After non-classical homeopathy caused aggravations, she found classical homeopathy. Her daughter’s most severe symptoms resolved within a month, revealing the profound difference between protocol-based treatment and gentle, individualized medicine.
Roddy Schrock: Kristina, thanks for being here. What has surprised you most about starting your practice, North Star Homeopathy?
Kristina Jermain: Being a student later in life gave me a clarity I didn’t have in my twenties. I understood the gravity of this work immediately—especially principles like the law of minimum dose. It’s real medicine, powerful enough to cause real effects.
Roddy Schrock: That resonates deeply. What’s your guiding philosophy as you begin?
Kristina Jermain: My job is to work myself out of a job. The goal is to get clients into such a solid state of health that they don’t need me anymore. It’s a radically different model from one built on lifetime prescriptions.
Roddy Schrock: It’s a powerful shift. Knowing when homeopathy can help is key, but so is knowing when to refer out.
Kristina Jermain: Exactly. Homeopathy works alongside other modalities, not against them. It’s about drama-free integration—simply another option for people seeking health.
