About Roddy Schrock, CHP

You can’t out-hustle your health
Hi, I’m Roddy Schrock. I used to think being unwell was just part of the job. For ten years, I was Executive Director of Eyebeam, one of New York City’s premier art and technology incubators. I turned the magic of creativity into hard metrics and, through turbulent times, grew our direct support to artists.
On paper, it looked like success. Inside, stress was making me unwell, and like so many leaders, I’d accepted that as normal. It isn’t. Classical homeopathy brought me back. That experience taught me something no clinical training can: what high-stakes cultural leadership can cost you in health, and also what can restore you.
So I changed my life. I trained in homeopathy and graduated from the Academy of Homeopathy Education in Philadelphia and became a certified homeopathic practitioner (CHP) through the North American Homeopathy Examiners. I entered a new field, centering presence with others, as the Executive Director of the NYC Zen Center. This also nourishes my work with clients and requires that I maintain an intentionally small practice.
My initial consultations run two hours, with no script and no such thing as too much information. Underneath the noise of your symptoms is a signal driving the whole picture. I find it, then match it precisely to a remedy that can set healing in motion.

Beyond the practice
Aside from non-profit leadership, Roddy hosts the Ultradilute Podcast, conversations with artists and practitioners about health and creative work, writes the newsletter Listening to the Essence of Things, and has written about his path into homeopathy in How Do You Trust a Mystery? first published by Dark Properties. How I work
Initial consultations run two hours, online, with no script. No machine intelligence is used at any stage of the intake or care planning. Between consultations, acute care for a cold, a cut or a sudden headache is fully included with membership, by phone or text. The practice is deliberately small, so that each client has my undivided attention. The consultations page describes each step, and classical homeopathy explains the approach.
