Clinical Insight Forged in Leadership
Roddy Schrock holds board certification as a Homeopathic Practitioner (CHP) through the North American Homeopathy Examiners. His career paths converge with his clinical practice, they are the source of its focus and impact.
Schrock is a seasoned arts executive: for a decade, he served as the Executive Director of Eyebeam, a premier New York City technology and art incubator. In that role, he was steeped in translating the ineffable magic of creativity into hard, propositional metrics. He managed high-net-worth philanthropic portfolios and scaled direct support to artists by over 500%, through periods of systemic turbulence.
He experienced firsthand the normalization of stress-induced unwellness that plagues modern leadership. His own restoration came through the intervention of classical homeopathy. This experience granted an asset that no standard clinical training program can offer: a direct, embodied understanding of what sustained high-stakes creative leadership actually costs, and what can restore it.
The Science of Listening
His approach to clinical case-taking is deeply informed by his work as a sound artist. Earning an MFA in Electronic Music and performing internationally with music and performance ensembles demanded a highly specific skill set. Working in sound design cultivates a rigorous perceptual discipline: the capacity to distinguish underlying structures from noise, and to identify a coherent signal inside apparent chaos.
A two-hour consultation has no standardized structure and no such thing as too much information. The task is to listen past the surface noise of presenting symptoms and identify the unique resonance of the client's system: the organizing signal driving the whole picture. Then to match it with precision to a homeopathic remedy, catalyzing healing.
Grounded in an ongoing Soto Zen practice, clinical interventions are designed to prompt the body to re-establish its own equilibrium. Nothing forced. Nothing more than what is needed.
He believes that empowering creativity by reclaiming health is key to living well. Ongoing affiliation with a group organized by homeopathic pioneer Massimo Mangialovori and additional training in Resonant Attention with Stella Osojoros Eisenstein round out his approach. This depth of training ensures a disciplined, evidence-informed alternative to mainstream care.
