Frequently asked questions

Cost, what to prepare, follow-ups, insurance, acutes, privacy, and what homeopathy is and is not: short answers to the questions people ask first.
How do I know if this is right for me?

Request a free 20-minute discovery call. It’s an informal, no-pressure chance to talk through your challenges and see if homeopathy is right for you.

What does it cost?

The discovery call is free. The initial consultation is $260, one time, for a two-hour session and an initial remedy recommendation; you buy the remedy itself separately, and I tell you where. Ongoing care is a $60 monthly membership that you can cancel anytime. Everything each step includes is on the pricing page.

How do you define health?

Health is functioning without interference from symptoms. Your physical and cognitive resources go entirely to creative and professional work, not to managing deficits. That freedom is the goal.

Does membership cover acutes?

Yes. Acute illnesses and injuries, like colds, flus, or injuries, are fully included with membership. Priority access is available by phone or text message. I write about this more in the journal.

What should I prepare for the first consultation?

Nothing but two uninterrupted hours and a willingness to tell the whole story: symptoms, sleep, energy, moods, history, how you work, what makes things better or worse. In homeopathy there is no such thing as too much information. A quiet room and a stable connection help.

How are follow-ups handled?

Through membership. After the initial consultation we meet for 30-minute follow-up calls as your picture changes, and I adjust the remedy accordingly. The rhythm depends on you; the point is continuity rather than a fixed schedule. Acute problems between follow-ups, like colds, flus or injuries, are fully included with membership too.

How soon will I notice a change?

It varies with the person and with how long a condition has been present. Some clients notice shifts within days of starting a remedy, others over weeks; follow-ups exist to read those shifts and adjust. I don’t promise timelines.

Will I need to take remedies forever?

No. My goal is to work myself out of a job, helping you reach health so solid you no longer need ongoing care.

Can I keep seeing my doctor?

Yes, and you should. Ultradilute complements licensed medical care and never replaces it. Keep your physicians informed, continue any prescribed treatment unless your prescriber changes it, and use emergency services in an emergency.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes. Consultations take place online, on Zoom or Google Meet, so clients join from anywhere. Extended early-morning hours start at 5 AM Eastern on Tuesdays and Thursdays to accommodate international time zones.

Do you take insurance?

No. Ultradilute is direct-pay, which protects the integrity of our deep-listening consultations, something insurance rarely covers. Many clients use HSA/FSA funds.

Why don’t you offer pay-per-session?

Because complex, persistent conditions don’t resolve in isolated sessions. Effective care means I hold your complete, evolving picture, tracking subtle shifts across multiple calibration cycles and adjusting formulations accordingly. Pay-per-session interrupts that continuity.

Is this a substitute for medical care?

No. Ultradilute offers non-medical homeopathic consulting and education that complements, but never replaces, licensed medical care. We do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure disease. In a medical emergency, call 911 or seek urgent care.

Is homeopathy the same as therapy?

No. We listen deeply, but our goal is finding a natural remedy to support your health, not psychotherapy.

Is my information private?

Yes. Consultations take place on Zoom or Google Meet with encryption in transit, and no session is recorded. Your information is stored on encrypted servers, access is limited to your homeopath, and nothing is shared without your written consent, except where required by law.

What research supports homeopathy?

Here’s a small sampling of peer-reviewed research for anyone exploring homeopathy’s evidence base:

Cost Savings: A French EPI3 analysis found patients of homeopathic GPs had ~20% lower total healthcare costs, driven by lower prescription spending.

Insomnia: A double-blind trial found individualized homeopathy improved sleep significantly more than placebo.

Ear Infections: A pilot study found homeopathy relieved symptoms faster than conventional care, with less antibiotic use.

Allergies & Hay Fever: A meta-analysis of controlled trials from the 1980s evaluates homeopathy’s effectiveness for hay fever.

Adverse Effects: A systematic review found side effects were reported more often with conventional medicine or other complementary therapies than with homeopathy.

Why no AI?

Homeopathy is rooted in shared human suffering, a lived experience no algorithm can replicate or understand. The work requires holding your entire history at once, emotional, cognitive and physical, and identifying the specific resonance of your presentation. That can’t be delegated to a machine and stay effective.

What does “AI-Free” mean in practice?

No machine intelligence is used at any stage of the diagnostic intake or care planning. Every clinical decision is made by Roddy Schrock – his undivided attention, experience, and care is what drives treatment.

What is a CHP?

CHP stands for Certified Homeopathic Practitioner, a credential issued by the North American Homeopathy Examiners. Roddy’s listing is on the examiners’ directory, and his training is described on the About page.

Can I make homeopathy available for others?

Yes. We’re happy to extend our services to individuals or communities you’d like to support. Email giving@ultradilute.com to tell us where to direct your gift.
